I am Ebony Smith but

I work with professionals to discover their perfect equation for exponential growth: working within a corporate culture + a deep-rooted passion for personal transformation = an engaged and high performing employee. My clients unlock their leadership potential by understanding that the leader is the person in the moment that is aware of their attitude and the variables in a room. Anyone can be a leader by checking in with themselves and deciding who they will influence in the moment.

Generally, I work with Mid-Career to Sr. Executives that are successful on the Golden Hamster Wheel, but feel restless and a 5%-10% shift is needed. My leaders possess unrecognized and underutilized skills or strengths. I work with their unique business acumen to develop a personal toolbox of leadership skills. My clients learn to be all-in, all the time.

My strength is in the restructure. I support my clients while they remain within their framework and redesign their career. I am an expert in designing structure and order to help you optimally layout your next steps.

Starts with awareness, information and the application of new skills and tools

Resilience skills can be taught, sharpened, practiced and exercised like an athlete. I work with my clients to add processes and tools, so they can be malleable, adaptive- have bounce! Resilience is not often thought of as a skill you can practice and hone, but a great leader taps into resiliency seamlessly.


Our dynamic programs cover processes that enables you to break through the limiting thought responses- replacing them with supportive, empowering beliefs that lead to powerful and consistent action.

Coaching Services

Private coaching sessions can be used to design, launch and tweak your professional skills and goals.


I believe that presentations should be accretive. I want the participants to feel the call to execute. Listening to a motivational speech is great in the moment, but the effect is not lasting. When I speak, my talks are catalysts for action and consistent execution.

Employee Experience (EX)

Design thinking is your EX key to increasing employee engagement and shaping your organization’s culture. The Ebenum Equation team works with management to prototype impactful EX programs from recruitment to retention.

This is an 8 week course that focuses on building resilient leaders using design thinking, mindfulness and emotional intelligence. The program is designed to take you on a journey into unearthing your creativity, decreasing stress, and developing resilient harmony. Using practical tools and techniques proven in business and in life for 35+ years, the course will empower you to authentically live with clarity, awareness, and resiliency.
